The friend claims that Nicole is hoping being in the family way will come in handy in helping her escape a jail sentence over DUI charges.
“Nicole is kind of hoping her pregnancy will keep her out of jail,” the source tells Page Six.
Friends are reportedly concerned over Nicole’s ability to carry a baby to term because of her weight issues.
The pregnancy rumours were sparked after Nicole was pictured looking a little fuller in the tummy, although some had put the bulge down to bloating caused by malnutrition.
