Kate Moss has given ex-boyfriend Pete Doherty royalty rights for the four songs she co-wrote for the latest Babyshambles album.
The supermodel - who split from frontman Pete in June after he allegedly cheated on her with a South African model - has writing credits on the tracks on 'Shotters Nation' after the pair worked together during their turbulent romance.
However, multi-millionaire Kate has told Pete he can keep any money he makes from the songs.
A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Kate wants Pete to have the royalties. She was happy to have the writing credits on the album, but it's not about the money for her.
"The music is Pete's thing. There is still a huge place in her heart for him and she is happy to see him doing better. She doesn't want to take money off him. And besides, he needs it more than her."
Kate is currently dating Kills singer Jamie Hince, but friends predict she will rekindle her romance with Pete.
Last week, Pete - who recently completed a six-week stint in rehab for drug addiction - dumped fiancée Irina Lazareanu and told pals he wants Kate back.
In August, it was reported Kate - who has a five-year-old daughter, Lila Grace, from a previous relationship - had rekindled her romance with Pete after the pair spent five nights together at exclusive London hotel Claridge's.

Ashley Olsen 'dating Lance Armstrong'

New York gossip columns are rife with speculation that Ashley Olsen is dating seven-time Tour de France hero Lance Armstrong.
Olsen, 21, caused a sensation when she was spotted at a Manhattan bar cuddling up to the 36-year-old sports star, the New York Post reports.
The starlet spent much of the night on Armstrong's lap and giggled when he whispered in her ear, according to witnesses.
The pair were later seen making out, before leaving the nightspot together at around 2am.
Olsen, who has built a teen film empire with sister Mary-Kate, is estimated by Forbes magazine to be worth over $50 million.
Olsen is 24 years younger than Armstrong's former fiancee, singer Sheryl Crow.
The cycling star's most recent partner, fashion designer Tory Burch, is 40 years old and has six children.

Kate warns friend off Sienna

Kate Moss believes Sienna Miller will break Rhys Ifans' heart.
The supermodel - who had a blazing row with Sienna at a wedding last month when she accused the Factory Girl actress of stealing her style and friends - is said to have warned the 39-year-old Welsh actor, who is her close friend, that Sienna is bad news.
A designer friend of Sienna's told Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "Kate isn't happy. Rhys was her main male friend in her close-knit group. She isn't keen on Sienna. There is definite tension between them.
"Sienna was fuming after Kate gave Rhys a talking to when she heard the relationship was getting serious. Kate doesn't think it will last and doesn't want Rhys getting hurt."
Despite Kate's misgivings, the pair - who have constantly denied they are a couple, despite being pictured frequently together and even seen kissing in public - are said to be so in love they are even considering getting married.
The source continued: "Sienna is probably the happiest I've ever seen her. She and Rhys are perfect together.
Sienna's ex-lover Jude Law - who she dated on/off for three years - has given the relationship his seal of approval.
Last week, it was claimed Rhys had already proposed to Sienna, 25, five times, but the screen beauty had so far spurned his marriage offer.

Tabloid hell

Contrary types, red top hacks - first they bang on about how shameful Pete Doherty's drug use was then, as soon as he starts looking healthy and normal again after kicking the needle, they find another way to lay in.
This morning, our favourite red top is reporting that Pete's new nickname, derived from the fact that he's put on a healthy amount of weight since his stint in rehab, is "Pillsbury Doughboy".
Odd, really, as we've never heard the new nickname uttered outside of the pages of the rag. Not that we're suggesting that the hacks dreamed it up themselves when they ran out of Amy Winehouse 'stories' to print.
Also, we're reliably informed, Pete's ex Kate Moss sent the singer a basket of muffins, which the Babyshambles man has construed as some kind of jibe.
Either that, or it never happened in the first place and Pete's just kicking back and enjoying being a normal healthy human being again. You never know.

Paris has a run in with the paparazzi

Heiress Paris Hilton's car has been hit by over-zealous photographer in Los Angeles.
Celebrity website TMZ.com reported on Sunday that Hilton's black Cadillac Escalade was side-swiped by a paparazzo trying to get a good shot of the heiress.
Hilton wasn't behind the wheel at the time.
Hilton's driver told TMZ.com he was parked at the time of the accident.
He said a black Mercedes, driven by a photographer, pulled in front of Hilton's car to get a good shot of her heading into Kitson.
But the shutterbug apparently left the car in reverse.
"The car is backing up into me, in reverse, as my client is getting out of the car. Basically it was either me risking hurting my client, which I wasn't willing to do, of course, or taking the hit. So we took the hit," Hilton's driver told the website.
Hilton was unhurt, but a bodyguard in the front passenger seat complained of neck pain, the website reported..
The two parties exchanged information, but no police or paramedics were called.

Doherty vows to give up drugs

Troubled British rocker Pete Doherty vowed Wednesday to turn over a new leaf as a judge freed him from conditions imposed to curb his drug problems.
The Babyshambles frontman has been under court supervision for 18 months, but a judge at Thames Magistrates' Court in east London said she was revoking the last six months of the order because he appeared to be changing his ways.
"You must be pleased," she told him at his latest supervision review hearing, while stressing the ruling was not the end, but a new beginning. "I wish you well," she added.
Speaking to reporters outside the court, Doherty said: "I have just had enough really... It's just the beginning, you know what I mean. My life has changed."
Doherty, who was recently reported to be embarking on a tour involving solely alcohol-free venues, said he was undergoing rehabilitation and was keen to get back on the road.
The one-time boyfriend of supermodel Kate Moss, has fought a public battle with drug addiction that has made more headlines than his music.
Earlier this month police in London announced they are to review an investigation into the death of an actor, who plunged from a balcony at a party attended by Doherty.
Mark Blanco, 30, died after falling from a second-floor balcony at a party in east London last December.
Doherty, whose literary agent hosted the party, was initially interviewed as a witness. Police at first ruled there had been no "third-party involvement" in Blanco's death.

Fashionistas on Robertson
While the Lindsay Lohans and Paris Hiltons of the world actually call and invite the paparazzi to wherever they will be, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are willing to do anything to avoid them.
During a routine trip to their Dualstar office on Robertson Boulevard in Culver City, CA last week, the celebrity fashionistas — sans their normally perma-present bodyguards — were left to their own devices to protect themselves from the glare of the photographers telephoto lenses.
While Ashley parlayed her cell phone into a makeshift sheild, MK hid behind a stack of papers she was carrying.

Linday's new beau has a criminal record
Riley Giles, who met Lindsay when they were both at Utah's Cirque Lodge rehabilitation centre, was charged with forging drugs prescriptions last year.
The professional snowboarder was charged with possession of a controlled substance by misrepresentation, fraud, forgery or subterfuge by Utah's Summit County Sheriff, after faking prescriptions for anti-depressant drug Xanax.
Riley also spent 10 days in prison after being arrested twice for DUI (driving under the influence), according to gossip website TMZ.com.
Lindsay must also serve time behind bars for a DUI charge.
The Mean Girls actress has until January 18 next year to complete her 24-hour jail sentence, community service and residential rehabilitation programme following her arrest on May 26 for DUI and possession of cocaine.
Meanwhile, Riley's ex-fiancée Bree Tierney has accused him of "forgetting" to tell her he had met somebody else.
Bree said: "We lived together for three years and planned on being together forever. But when he finally confessed to me that he had sex with Lindsay in one of the stairwells at Cirque - that was it, we were done."
Riley denies the pair had made plans to tie the knot, saying: "I broke up with Bree a week before I started dating Lindsay. We had dated for almost two years, but it's not like we were engaged or anything."

Amy Winehouse to duet with Pete Doherty

Amy Winehouse has teamed up with Pete Doherty for a new duet. The 'Rehab' singer and the Babyshambles star recently recorded the track, which sees Amy showcasing her impressive guitar playing skills as well as her singing talents.
Pete's bandmate, guitarist Mick Whitnall, said: "It's a ska-type track. Amy's playing guitar on it and singing as well."
"She plays better than James Brown playing acoustic guitar. She thinks she's s**t but she's not. I've never met a man who plays like that, let alone a girl."
Pete - who recently left rehab after a six-week stint for drug addiction - is not the only star eager to work with Amy. It was revealed this week George Michael wants to duet with the controversial 24-year-old star.
George said: "I have written a song for Amy and I hope she likes it. I would love us to record it together, but we will have to see what she says."
The 44-year-old singer - who like Amy has had a difficult relationship with alcohol and drugs - recently said Amy was the "best female vocalist" he had ever heard.
Prince is also a huge admirer of Amy and invited her to his Paisley Park recording studio in Minneapolis to record with him.

Ashley versus Mary-Kate

Of the Olsen twins, it is Ashley who has managed to stay out of the headlines in recent times. The Olsens have lived their life in the limelight since they starred in Full House in the late 80s.

Lohan has blown $7.7 million on partying

Troubled actor Lindsay Lohan has reportedly blown $7.7 million on her partying lifestyle, leaving her broke.
The 'Mean Girls' star has had to sell her properties and move in with billionaire friend Tom Gores, who is executive producer on her recent film 'I Know Who Killed Me', News of the World has reported.
The newspaper claims the 21-year-old's fortune from movies 'Mean Girls' and 'Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen' has not been sufficient to fund her socialite lifestyle, riddled with boozy nights, extravagant hotel stays and rehab costs.
Lohan sold both her properties in Los Angeles and New York because she could not keep up with the mortgage payments.
In recent months she has spent more than $1 million on clothes, $70,000 in beauty salons, $1.1 million on 24-hour stand-by chauffeurs and $450,000 on a suite at Hollywood's Chateau Marmont hotel.
She was evicted from the opulent hotel after she failed to settle the tab for a supply of $600 bottles of Cristal champagne.
She has obviously had to sacrifice thousands more in legal fees after several drink driving convictions.
Three separate stints in rehab costing more than $150,000 have failed to convince fans of a detoxified Lohan.
However, her father is confident she is back on track after her latest rehab stint.
Michael Lohan told People magazine his daughter is doing "very, very well" and is being accompanied by a sober companion to help her overcome her addictions.
She returned to Los Angeles last week after her time in a Utah rehab clinic and is reportedly desperate to get back into business.

Fashion Rocks Charity Gala

Kate Moss will wear a copy of the vintage dress that she wore when she first met ex-flame actor Johnny Depp thirteen years ago, for the Fashion Rocks charity gala.
The Brit supermodel has preserved the vintage dress with ornate beading, made in the Twenties, which she wore when she met Depp in New York, soon after the success of the actor's movie Edward Scissorhands.
For over a decade, she has kept the dress in a box under her bed.
A source said that the gown is very close to Moss' heart.
"This dress was obviously very close to Kate's heart. Topshop were struggling for a good idea and she just said, 'I've got the perfect dress at home'," the Daily Mail quoted a source, as saying.
"She has kept it in a display box under her bed for years. The original is an eau de nil (pale green) dress and very, very delicate," the source said.
The new version of the dress is very similar to the original except for the embroidery with 60,000 Swarovski precision-cut crystal glass piece for the event that will take place on Oct 18.
'The dress is made and Kate tried it on yesterday. I saw it on her. It's sensational. She loves it," Topshop boss Sir Philip Green said.
After the event, the dress will be on display and will be auctioned at the Central London Topshop flagship store, for which Moss is a designer.
Five hundred limited copies of the dress will go on sale for 250 pounds in London.
Lindsay spotted shopping in SLC
It seems that Lindsay Lohan's and new beau Riley Giles are going to have a 'bedroom' blast this weekend. Snappers spotted the actress with a pal in Salt Lake City, Utah shopping at Victoria's Secrets, a lingerie store.
"Lindsay was in the store for about half an hour," the Sun quoted a source, as saying. "She looked deep in thought and eventually paid for a variety of pretty underwear sets," the source said.
Lohan might be finding it hard to stay away from the temptations in Los Angeles that spoiled her life and career, but she certainly isn't planning to miss out any fun from the bedroom.

More Sex & the City drama

The latest batch of photos from the set of the Sex and the City movie reveal character Carrie Bradshaw's dream wedding ends in disaster.
Decked out in her Zac Posen wedding gown, floor length veil and a turquoise head-dress, Carrie is seen laying into Mr Big with her bridal bouquet, sending petals flying.
Carrie is screaming hysterically as her bridesmaid Miranda, played by Cynthia Nixon, attempts to restrain her.
There's been a steady stream of photos coming out of the New York shoots for the film, all apparently designed to keep fans of the hit TV series guessing about the film's plot.
Sources have told the Sunday Mail the film's producers plan to shoot two endings — one has Carrie and her Mr Big happily married, unlike the photos released this weekend.
And earlier this month, The New York Post reported the first lot of wedding photos and others showing a heavily pregnant Charlotte, played by actress Kristin Davis, were actually part of a dream sequence in the film.
"They're playing mind tricks with the fans — the pictures have been staged to make people think they're following a predictable plot, but these are really only dreams," a source told The Post.
"Everyone is wondering how Charlotte could finally get pregnant after all that time. They're loving that everyone's imaginations are running wild."
Meanwhile, in an interview this week, Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays Carrie, was asked about rumours the film was delayed because of feuding among the four leading ladies: Parker, Nixon, Davis and Kim Cattrall, who plays Samantha.
"I was led to believe there were a number of reasons," Parker told Grazia magazine.
"It wasn't just money, but I'm not certain what all those reasons were.
"I didn't ask.
"You have to respect someone's choice to want to move on in their life."

Answers: The Hills
Once and for all, is the show staged?
Yes and no. “Who I am on the show is who I am in real life,” Audrina Patridge says. “What you see is what you get.” But it wasn’t just a coincidence that friends-turned-enemies Lauren and Heidi Montag went to the trendy restaurant Ketchup on the same night. “Lauren and Jason [Wahler] were going there, and Heidi and Spencer [Pratt] wanted to celebrate their anniversary,” says exec producer Adam DiVello. “Ketchup was one of the spots Spencer wanted to go to, so it just sort of worked out. It wasn’t planned on our behalf, but it is a little fake.”
How long do the girls have cameras with them each day?
Sometimes hours, sometimes not at all. (Monday and Tuesday are their days off.) “We don’t have a set schedule,” Audrina says. “It depends on what’s going on.” At the beginning of each week, the girls speak with producers about their plans. “I hate to say we schedule their lives, but we definitely schedule out what we want to cover,” DiVello says. So if they are going on a date or to the Hollywood hot spot Les Deux, then the MTV crews tag along. But if they’re bumming around the house solo, the cameras will probably skip it.
Is Heidi and Spencer’s relationship a sham?
Not according to DiVello. “They’re very much in love when I see them,” he says. “They’re a real couple and definitely engaged. It’s not staged for the sake of our show. If they’ve got something else going on, we’ve yet to see it.”
How do Lauren and Audrina afford that apartment?
We have no idea. MTV won’t name the complex (it’s not really called Hillside Villas) because when people find out, they camp in front waiting to see the stars. But a swanky two-bedroom apartment in that area costs about $3,000 a month. Audrina works part-time as a receptionist at Epic Records and Lauren is an intern at Teen Vogue. You do the math.
Do Lauren and Audrina have a standing reservation at Les Deux?
No, but they’re friends with the promoters and owners, so they know they’ll always be whisked past the velvet rope. Plus, the other clubgoers seem to have gotten used to seeing the cast there all the time, so the camera crews can go about their business pretty much unbothered. “It’s like a home away from home,” Audrina says. If your home always has a fully stocked bar, that is.

Doherty attempts suicide

Troubled rocker Pete Doherty tried to kill himself in rehab when he found out his former girlfriend Kate Moss was dating another musician, according to reports. The Babyshambles front man was so upset at hearing supermodel Moss was romantically involved with The Kills star Jamie Hince, he took an entire bottle of pills. However Doherty became violently sick, clearing the poison out of his system.
His minder Johnny 'Headlock' Jeannevol tells British newspaper News Of The World, "Pete's been really wound up over Kate showing off her new man. He told me he didn't know what the pills were but thought, 'F**k it', and took the lot. He doesn't care what drugs do to him - in fact, he loves finding out."
Doherty, who last week checked out of a rehab clinic in Wiltshire, England after managing to stay clean for six weeks, split with Moss in July after he was accused of cheating on her with a mystery brunette.
He is now engaged to marry singer/model Irina Lazareanu.
Lindsay Lohan: I hit rock bottom

Lindsay Lohan admitted in an interview with a celebrity weekly that she had reached the lowest point in her career, after her July arrest for drunk driving and cocaine possession.
"I hit rock bottom," Lohan, 21, told OK!. Excerpts of the interview have been released ahead of the magazine's publication later this week.
Lohan, who starred in The Last Show, Mean Girls and Freaky Friday, was arrested July 24 in Santa Monica, California, for drunk driving and possession of cocaine.
She pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to one day in jail, 10 hours of community work, and three years probation.
In early August Lohan checked into the exclusive Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in the state of Utah for a two-month detoxification program.
"It was a sobering experience," Lohan told the magazine in her first interview since leaving the center.
"It made me look at myself and all the people, places and things in my life in a different way."
Entertainment Weekly in August quoted anonymous Hollywood film directors as saying the incident had, in effect, "killed" Lohan's movie career — but the starlet said she would be going back to Los Angeles to shoot a movie titled Dare to Love Me.
"I'm here to stay," she said. "My talent is a gift and I'm going to use it."
"But I plan on returning to Utah so I can stay focused and avoid other distractions," she said.
Alcohol sales are banned in Utah, an overwhelmingly Mormon state.
"Tempation is always there, but now I'll avoid it the right way," she said.
Richie avoids paparazzi in Australia

A pregnant Nicole Richie has refused to pose for photographers in Brisbane with rock star boyfriend Joel Madden saying her unborn baby "doesn’t like the flash".
The couple were pursued around the city yesterday, fresh from a few spa treatments at their luxury hotel, according to The Herald Sun.
Clearly in no mood to be photographed, the Simple Life star even resisted the charm of radio producers Chris Hague and Bruno Bouchet who tried to sweet-talk her with flowers.
"We felt bad for following them, and Nicole seemed a bit put out, so Bruno threw his credit card over the counter at a florist and bought her a huge bunch of flowers," Hague told The Herald Sun.
"We handed them to her and she was very nice. She said thank you but still refused to be photographed and Joel told us that the baby didn't like the flash," Hague said.
Lionel Richie's daughter is in Australia with Madden, whose band Good Charlotte is on tour for two weeks.
The once stick-thin star, who is five months pregnant with her first child, has been snapper flaunting her new baby curves. The 26-year-old weighed a mere 39kg last December when she was arrested for drink driving, the Daily Mail reported at the time.
Madden has publicly announced his plans to marry Richie.
"Obviously, marriage is in our future," the rocker told American radio show host Ryan Seacrest in September.

Doherty to be questioned over death

Troubled rock star Pete Doherty could face a murder investigation into the death of a partygoer who fell from a balcony.
A coroner dramatically suspended an inquest on Mark Blanco on Friday after hearing that one of Doherty's minders admitted he had pushed the man over.
A police investigation into the incident will now be re-opened and Doherty faces further questioning.
Coroner Dr Andrew Reid recorded an open verdict, saying "I have heard enough conflicting evidence."
He rejected suggestions of suicide or that Blanco may have died after trying to leap from the balcony to a lamppost.
Dr Reid said there was not enough information to determine whether the death was an accident or an unlawful killing.
"I am going to ask the Metropolitan Police to review and reopen the investigation," he said.
Jonathan Headlock Jeannevol, 27, called police three weeks after the December 3 tragedy, the inquest heard.
He said he pushed Blanco, 30, after he had been pestering Doherty but later withdrew his confession, saying: "I was off my head."
Evidence at the inquest included CCTV footage of Babyshambles singer Doherty, 28, running past the dying man without stopping to help before medics showed up.
The inquest also heard a testimony claiming that several people, including Jeannevol, were heard running on stairs in the apartment complex just before Blanco plunged to his death.
Blanco had been asked to leave a party in a second-floor flat in Whitechapel, London. But he returned and two minutes later was seen on CCTV plunging to the street below.
Blanco's mother Sheila told the inquest: "Very early on this was pre-judged as a suicide by the police."
The coroner's ruling sparked wild applause from his family.
Doherty, who was not required to appear at the inquest, checked out of rehab last week after allegedly staying off drugs for six weeks. He was put through a strict detoxification program at Clouds Clinic in Wiltshire in the UK's south-west and passed tests to prove he was clear of alcohol, crack cocaine and heroin, it has been reported.
The rocker, who is facing a potential jail sentence for drug and car offences, has now moved to a property outside of London.
His latest album Shotters Nation has recently been released.

Carrie Bradshaw, to wed?

Carrie Bradshaw is getting married — or at least that's what new sneak photos from the set of the Sex and the City movie seem to show.
Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays the fashion-obsessed Bradshaw, was snapped yesterday stepping out of a New York apartment in an extravagant Zac Posen wedding dress, before taking a limo to the wedding set.
Joining her were castmates Charlotte (Kristin Davis), Samantha (Kim Cattrall) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), quashing rumours that Cattrall had not returned to the set since an on-set bust-up last month.
However, there was no sign of Mr Big (Chris Noth) in the wedding scene — despite previous scenes of them together holding hands — sparking speculation over the groom's identity.
Chris Noth was spotted on-set last week with Davis, whose character Charlotte will be pregnant in the movie.
But Charlotte may not be the only character who will sport a baby bump.
OK! Magazine reported a witness's account of a scene where Carrie flanked in a flattering peach dress balancing in towering high heels is walking with her best friend Stanford (Willie Garson) before they run into Bitsy Von Muffling (Julie Halston).
"Carrie Bradshaw pregnant! Mazel Tov! When is it? September? October?" Von Muffling blurts out.
However, the UK magazine reported a subsequent take of the scene revealed a different story.
For the full story, fans will have to wait until the movie hits American screens in May 2008.
